this is probably a silly question but I can't see the answer.

the desktop search function (strigi + nepomuk) is now working
really well for me

but sometimes I'd like to know the actual location of a file
which is found in a search

right clicking a "hit" and opening properties just gives the
cryptic

Location: / (nepomuksearch)

shouldn't this tell me where the file really lives?

thanks in advance

You can use the details mode view. You can also enable "path" in icons view with "additional information".

Also if you hover over a file you'll see "Points to <location>" in the statusbar.
