Incorrect character encoding in nepomuk

I have problem with data stored in nepomuk: non-ASCII symbols are incorrectly encoded or decoded somewhere in nepomuk. Example: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12739716/kde/nepomuk.png . MP3 id3 tags are also incorrectly encoded (question marks instead of unicode characters). I'm not sure which of the various components causes the problem: I tried to test raptor and strigi but they seem to produce correctly encoded content, but it may be a communication issue between two components. Another problem is that if I search text which contains non-ASCII symbols, then nothing is found.

Here are details about my setup:
- KDE SC 4.6.3 (on Archlinux)
- soprano 2.6.0-6
- redland 1:1.0.12-1
- raptor 2.0.3-1
- raptor1 1.4.21-3 (I think this is the one which is used)
- rasqal 1:0.9.21-1
- virtuoso 6.1.3-1
- strigi 0.7.5-3

I tried with an empty $HOME directory and the problem is reproducible. Does anyone has the same problem? I couldn't find reports of a similar issue which makes me wonder if my setup is wrong.

Thanks for the help!

Your setup looks to be up to date, I would recommend filing a bug, at the very least against NepSak.

I think the problem is in redland. I used their web-based demo application and it exhibits the same problem: incorrectly encoded UTF-8 characters. I registered a bug in their bug tracker. I had to write to their mailing list first, but I found it only after I've registered the bug :) Anyway, I hope they'll fix it soon.

Downgrade virtuoso to 6.1.2 will make it works.
