Hi,

how can I prevent strigi from feeding certain directories into nepomuk? I'd like to limit it to specific directories in the end, but more important is for now to hinder it to index my huge source trees. So f.ex. "do not index any (sub-)directory which is called src/".

Oh, and as a bonus: where can I see some detailed information about this collected data? :-)

Thanks

Here is a screenshot of the Desktop Search control module in System Settings. Click customize index folders and you can tell strigi to avoid indexing matches to some expressions. For your example case, I'm guessing you should add "src/*" as an option. Or you can exclude specific file types based on extension. Maybe "*.cpp" and "*.h"?

Regarding seeing information collected by strigi, I saw references here on techbase to a kioslave called nepomuk:/ and to an app called nepomukshell that seem to be what you're looking for.
