Dolphin have some options to filter, so I can view certain groups of files - Images, Video, Documents, and certain periods like today, this week etc. But if I try to use that, apart from being extremely slow, dolphin does not show filtered content from the current folder, but from all indexed content. Is that meant to be like that? I really finde it useless, compared to being able to filter the current folder!!

Also, If I click a folder in the filtered content, dolphin sometimes just goes into that folder and immediately leaves it again.

Does the filtering work for you?

don't you get the options "from here" and "everywhere" offered and doesn't that provide what you're looking for (note: don't use so can't really comment)
