Hi,

I have disabled Nepomuk (in the System Settings, + I disabled the Nepomuk Search Module in Service Manager), because it is eating up 200% of my cpu. I am using recoll instead, which is incomparably better.

Unfortunately I get 3 annoying popups in every session complaining about nepomuk being disabled. I know, I disabled it. Can I somehow get rid of this popup?

I am using KDE 4.7.1 (?) shipped with Ubuntu 11.10

Thanks
Daniel

there's a bug report https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258171

update: it's Akonadi, not Nepomuk displaying the warnings

Hi,
Thanks a lot. I did that and it seemed to help - for a few days at least. Now this annoying popup is there again.... Can I stop/remove/eliminate akonadi from my system, without eliminating the whole of KDE as well?
Thanks
Daniel
