Sorry, my Linux distro is a little old, nevertheless to call Krita, Tupi looks for the binary "/usr/bin/krita" so the interaction is independent of the Krita's version.

Im trying tupi experimental branch from git and it looks promising.
I was thinking to use tupi for setting the keys and fast inbetweens, then import the animation pngs to krita as layers to make the paint rendering. Finally Import all frames back to tupi to take advantage of tweening for the things that need tweening.

The idea with this new approach is to allow artists to work with both tools but taking away the "export/import" process of the workflow between them. This feature is a very first step in that direction, but we really appreciate every comment/suggestion coming from Krita users to make this experience even better

where can I report bugs and asks for features?
I cannot make the motion tween to work and I find extremely painful to CTRL+right arrow to copy content to next frame (specially if you an object/node is selected as the focus is taken by the selection) Could you add Pageup and Pagedown to move trough frames and CTRL+PageDown to copy current frame to the next one?

Done! It is already available in the development branch of the source code and it will be available in the next minor release too
