Hi!
I do not see any topic about that so I have decided to post it. To me it is crucial to have a cage transform tool like GIMP or the distort transform tool in Photoshop. For now I cannot even simulate this function combining the free transform and warp tools. It is not accurate and quite time consuming. The free transform tool is magic and I am asking if it would be hard to add an alt + RMD option or something else to freely move one corner without affecting the others. Thank you for that great software, goodbye. |

Yes, this would be a good adition, though I'm not sure which modifier is free. The best place to register the feature request is bugs.kde.org. No promises for a quick delivery, though! (But we've got other feature requests for the transform tool as well, and might get down to it in one go.)

Hello. I went searching I think this may help ...?
http://alias.io/ He created a free transform tool for a javascript library here http://alias.io/raphael/free_transform/ if you use java this may be helpful - if not then perhaps contact the creator! He is Australian (like me so thus awesome) and loves open source software. |

@boudewijn
Seems like ALT its available. At least on my system it does nothing if pressed on it's own. Cage transform could be activated while pressing ALT and dragging a corner? @emile_ Please add a but/wish report at http://kde.bugs.org so devs can keep an eye on the desired feature.

By default, alt -click on Linux moves the whole window. It's very annoying and limiting, and most pro artists who use Linux disable that, as far as I know. For the rest, I agree that we need this feature, so we need an entry in bugs.kde.org to track it.
