I've noticed that when re sizing inking brushes that have softer edges, that the softness increases with the size of brush and is not consistent while re sizing ,
I'm guessing that it has to do with using soft images as brushes to create anti aliasing. (Quick sloppy example pic showing enlarging of brush softness to increase:https://www.dropbox.com/s/nn4gvmzi53cwr58/example1.jpeg?dl=0) If possible I thought it might be neat and useful to implement a slider that could effect hardness and softness of brushes anti aliasing, to keep brush consistent while adjusting size also reducing the amount of brushes needed for soft and hard brushes. Possibly on a smaller scale it may also slightly increase crispness of artwork because the anti aliasing softness won't increase as brush increases size with pressure sensitivity . *edited* Had a couple more ideas suggestions, rather than clog up forum with multiple posts I decided to add on here, I'm curious I've heard there's a krita action recorder that replays actions taken during artwork creation, I was thinking that there could be and option to record process and system specs percentage of times that specific bug has been encountered by users etc , for use in bug reporting, for users who want to contribute bug reports giving developers a replay of actions user takes and when bugs occur. Last Idea is something similar to shell out plugin for gimp or adobe bridge something Linux software has nothing similar to , this would speed up workflow for those who export frequently between other applications such as GIMP etc. making Krita a teamplayer and a central hub between using other software. Really am impressed with your work so far its great what you've accomplished with Krita recently, your definitely some cool cats. |
