Just sharing a couple ideas that might be useful for animation if possible maybe in the future.

1.Motion Betweening
Vector tracing traditional animation keyframes to help create auto betweens and coloring, similar to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeQWnNyUvvo&list=LLSFhifF3TPhbGCuSfP4AonQ the keyframes are frame by frame animations on a layer underneath a vector layer with points that generate betweening paths.
One tool I do not even think animestudio possesses is a motion betweening brush or pen, similar to the one used in Paperman animation by Disney https://youtu.be/TZJLtujW6FY?t=3m8s If possible it would simplify betweening and vector actions making animation process more organic and natural for artist and more inline with KRITA's artistic nature.

2.Blender Paralax Multiplane Export
Unsure if this is possible yet such a tool would be extremely useful and probably used not just by cartoon animators, I'm thinking that the ability to export animation layers into blender for multi plane camera effect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kN-eCBAOw60https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvroVnZCJqY. This would add a lot more possibility's as well as reducing time needed to prepare images in blender, there's already plugins for blender that import image sequences of png's for animation onto a plane that can be placed in 3D https://youtu.be/3UOywRFIpLM?t=34s. yet all the processes such as rotating images to face camera placing etc is time consuming and reduces workflow, if possible being able to automate and optimize animations for use and export into blender, perhaps if one understood blender save files it could be possible to automate some of these actions before importing into blender this would be a great asset and make Krita a team player with Blender.

3. Story Board Timeline
This feature would be different than frame by frame animation as it would help with setting up scenes for animation, help with story pacing and camera angles using quick draft images. These images screentime length and camera could also be adjusted as example: https://youtu.be/7rc8RFtvhjIStory board timeline would not be rendered on finish product yet would be able to help controll some aspects of the main rendered timelines such as camera panning and zooming and act to control as a scene switcher to display different assigned background images to match the corresponding scene, a tool like this would help speed up workflow and also I imagine might increase the amount of users telling and creating great story's with their animations. :D
