Hello, these days I use a lot the perspective tool which is very cool, and I would like to suggest some idea to improve it:
- make it possible to use the Shift key to make horizontal/vertical/... rulers - add a function to align horizontally two vanishing point - add some shortcuts in the freehand tool option (just below the assistant checkbox) to quickly enable or disable some perspective assistants - the perspective point, ruler and lines get lost when you put them outside the canvas (grey line on a grey background), maybe some color or more contrast This is just some idea to make this powerful tool even better. |

Yes this could be a great goal:
add a function to align horizontally two vanishing point !! i think about this fonction every day ( because i work everyday on krita) |

You should be able to lay down a guide, and then align two vanishing points to that if the snapping to guides is active.
https://docs.krita.org/Painting_With_Assistants -> also has information on snapping. https://docs.krita.org/Snapping https://docs.krita.org/Grids_and_Guides And finally there's a hotkey for toggling on guides-snapping that can be configured in the settings. |

hello TheraHedwig
about this thing of "to align horizontally two vanishing point" your method with SHIFT key is ok , but not so precise. i don't know if you've already use "manga studio" or "clip paint tool" (it's the same thing) this was the software i use before to switch of Krita. on this software it was an option to have automaticaly two (or tree) vanishing points on the same horizon line. (or "SKYLINE" says google translate) it was Soooooooo usefull! of course i continue to use this wonderfull Krita software mostly every day to work. but if i can ask for an improvement it will be this one! you can have a look at my work (with Krita and paint tool) on my website : renaudgarcia.com have a good day |

While I agree that Krita has a functional perspective tool - having a subscription to Sketchbook Pro, I have to say that their perspective tool implementation probably beats everyone else hands down. Honestly there is a lot I do not like about Sketchbook hence me also using Krita of course. But the ease of use of some of their tools does really make the perspective tool in Krita painful to set up and use.
