Hello!

Well, there isn't much detailing about it, it would be really nice to have this feature as an extension of the current one.

My issue with the increase/decrease method is that if I'm at 100% opacity and I want to go down to 0,2 or 0,3 for example, it gets very unpractical.

Maybe, don't make it default, since it would conflict with the rotate canvas shortcuts, but leave the option there, or perhaps turn it on under the Photoshop Compatible settings.

That's pretty much it. I hope it's not too much of a coding hassle so it can be added.

Cheers

For now you can use two work-around (actually I think the feature is there, is just matter of getting used to it :) )

-Use the shortcuts for increase/decrease opacity, it goes by 1/10 up and down. you can also change the default keys to suit your needs better, "I & O" are (if I'm didn't change them) the default.

-You rather use your stylus than the keyboard, then go to Settings>Configure Toolbars> then select the BrushesAndStuff toolbar, there look for the opacity increase/decrease buttons, you can add along to the tool bar, they also do increments by 1/10.

Hope it helps.

It would be awesome to have this feature! Just increasing/decreasing opacity with hotkeys is not the same, 1-10 buttons would be WAY more convenient, and this doesn't seem too difficult to implement.

This is already a feature in development branch, not sure when (4.x I'm guessing) will land in the stable release, this is a new python docker called "quick settings", with size, opacity and flow predefined buttons. only a click away ;D
