perspective grid

How about a script for generating a perspective grid (be it vector or raster). Some times you want to freehand stuff but still have a grid under instead of just relying on the assistants. And it can be tedious and repetitive to draw grids, I think this is can be a perfect candidate as a script with the new python api. I know gimp had/has some extension for generating grids and I found that to be very useful.

Or just draw it once and create a brush tip from it ;)
I think it's actually pretty good variant for master builds because you can increase max brush size and create ~5k size tip. And then just make a grid in 1-3 clicks.

True, I guess you can make a brush specifically for that, but I still think a script can be valuable because it can calculate stuff for you, like correctly rotate the vanishing points for example if you have multiple perspectives in your painting, etc. I think both of these approaches are useful

I think he means something like Carapace by Epic. That tool is simple, fast and very useful. Integrating something like that shouldn't be a super big issue but very useful. Creating brushes of varying sizes is a hassle by comparison.

Carapace sounds exactly like our assistants, though.

Completely missed the assistants. That is damn powerful.
