Hello,
![]() Thanks to all the team for their work on Krita. I propose improvements for perspective drawing tools. They correspond to the technical on paper. In the perspective tools it would be important to be able to create two perpendicular axis (a cross) which are the referents for the vanishing point that will be placed next. 1 - Each axis acts as a parallel rule. 2 - Be able to create vanishing point that are exactly on one of the axes. 3 - Create two distant vanishing points equidistant from an axis. On both sides of the axis or on the same side. 4 - Define a standard distance between two vanishing points. If two points are separated by x cm, I can create two other point separated by x cm. 5 - Tilt the whole thing in one movement.

I also would like to see an expansion of tools for tackling perspective.
In the short term is there a tweak to reduce the inputs of the ellipse assistant? Right now if I want to figure out where to place vanishing/measuring points consistently, the best way I've found so far is by placing ellipse assistances and going through a frustrating trial/error routine to satisfy having both perfect circles and the circumferences/centers being exactly where they are needed (especially when assistants are exempt from undo/redo). Essentially everything moves by the time I need to go back to that third control point and constrain it with shift. |
