Hi all,
I've been experimenting with Krita recently and really enjoy it. I like the multibrush tool a lot, but would like to extend its functionality so I can define an interval between copy translate brush instances procedurally rather than manually. For example, I'd like to be able to set the brush to repeat every N pixels indefinitely along an axis, or define the interval mathematically (like along a sine curve or something similar). I've looked through the documentation a bit for writing python extensions, and it looks like I might not be able to extend brush functionality this way using python. Would I need to write an extension using c++ for this? Is anyone able to point me in the direction of the best/simplest way to accomplish what I'm after? I'm a novice in both python and c++, but always happy to learn what I need to in order to solve problems. |
