I've done it before, but I just can't find it again.

Where is the setting that will turn off all notifications related to print jobs (printing with hplip/CUPS) without turning off all application notifications.

I have two users on my notebook and I got it to work for one, but can't remember what I did so I can set up the other user.

KDE 4.7.4 with hplip and CUPS (kubuntu oneiric).

TIA

Joe

This will likely be a HPLIP preference, rather than one in KDE itself.

Rightclick the hp systray icon (comes with hp-toolbox)
choose "Settings..."
Upper right quarter, select the amount of spam you'd like to see.
Done ;-)

That worked! Thank you. I had removed it from my tray and had to run it first to get to the proper panel.
