In my last post I asked if anyone knew why dialog boxes were showing up as empty frames. Nobody replied. Well, I think I might have figured it out but I'm not positive. Somehow Plasma-Active got installed onto my laptop. It seems that without plasma-active installed the problem is not there. I thought that I had uninstalled it completely but maybe not, or maybe that's not the whole issue. Can anyone tell me if there are other files that need to be removed besides the ones found by searching for "plasma active" in Muon?
