In KDE, we can make windowed applications to run as fullscreen application without windowing border through window menu button.

Can the user set a specific application that s/he desired to run as fullscreen automatically by default without manually using window menu button?

I can do maximizing window by default in MsWin by making shortcut for the application, then set application to run maximize by default through properties menu.

Thanks

right click the application window's title bar -> advanced -> special window settings
then adjust the size & position tab and the appearance and fixes tab to your preferences

And if you want something similar to the Windows solution, you can run
Code: Select all
kstart --fullscreen <application>
