I want to copy an icon that is on my panel on my left screen to the panel on the right screen (I have dual monitors).
I went to panel settings and tried to drag it over to the other panel. That didn't work regardless of which panel I was in. I tried going to the K menu and right clicking on the related program and picked add to panel. However that would only put it on the panel that the menu was on. I would have just added another menu to the other panel, but of course having two menus locks up KDE. After quite a bit of searching, I found where the .desktop file (first had to figure out that it was a .desktop file I was looking for) was for the icon (in /usr/share/applications), opened the directory up in dolphin and then dragged it over to the panel I wanted. While this worked, I'm thinking there has to be an easier way. Is there? Thanks in advance. |

use Krunner, type in the app and drag the result to the panel
not sure if any special plugins are needed to be enabled but possibly: - plasma desktop shell - applications |
