How do I set time in KDE 4.1?
I tried double clicking on time applet in systray, and going to settings but I cannot find it.
What I want is to change from time 17:51 to 17:49.

I also seem to be unable to change time zone. I click the one I want but when I go back to settings, my settings are not saved.

I tried that on Kubuntu.

Did you try System Settings > Date and Time? Then, set the time you want, hit apply, and it should ask you for your root password.
