Is there any way to make KWin not to use window titles?

Hi,
I want to use this Emerald theme with Smaragd, but I can't find a way to turn off the window titles, so the decoration actually looks like this:

I tried setting the titlebar font size to 0 in KDE's font settings, but it doesn't let me do that. It can't be done using the "Configure Buttons" dialog of the decoration either. I looked around the ~/.kde4/share/config folder, but found nothing that helps, and of course Emerald's settings don't change anything...

Any tips? Can it be done at all? :'(

Absolutely.
Here is the relevant portion of code found in ~/.emerald/theme/theme.ini

Code: Select all
[titlebar]
active_text=#ffffff
active_text_alpha=0
active_text_halo=#444444
active_text_halo_alpha=0
inactive_text=#eeeeee
inactive_text_alpha=0
inactive_text_halo=#000000
inactive_text_halo_alpha=0
titlebar_font=Trebuchet MS 6
min_titlebar_height=10
title_object_layout=(16)::HNXC:Normal Layout

Note the key is to set 'alpha' entries to 0.

Have a nice day...
