Is there any krunner method to open the desktop settings dialog?
The one where i choose folderview or Search and Launch? I need something to invoke from command line, as shortcuts and right click fail ![]() |

Have you tried the Cashew, which should still be available?
I did a quick check of Plasma Desktop's D-Bus interface, and it does not seem to offer an interface to do this unfortunately.

Thanks for the quick replies!
Thing is, I am testing a new desktop containment, that, once set, cannot invoke the settings dialog again with right click. So I am stuck with the wallpaper and containment forever, unless i delete the activity and setup a new one. It is just the problem, that the right click option to reach the settings is not implemented yet, so I thought that there might be a command line to open this settings dialog again: http://docs.kde.org/stable/de/kde-works ... ttings.png |

Unfortunate... you may wish to ask for advice on the plasma-devel@kde.org mailing list.
