Where's this problem coming from ?

is there some hiden files to erase or something to recreate , an index maybe (?)

see here the pictures in message # 6

I suspect that could be Policykit... however it is hard to tell without a translation.
I haven't seen a window that matches that exactly before though.

hello,

the 1st window is asking for the password for the wallet

the 2d one is asking for the password again (telling it's needed for it's impossible to get it from the wallet)

If you create a new user, and setup the wallet again does it work there?

What is this "Free" account? Network name? FTP/SSH server? Account from one of KDE PIM apps?

This dialog may look like appearing at random, but it certainly is not. There must be some event that triggers it's appearance. At first we must find that event and related application.

ok, the user says he tried to set up kmail in imap which was not working so he used pop, then he stopped using kmail and is now using thunderbird with imap. It seems to him the problem is coming from kmail for the windows is coming at a different ryhrm than what he set up in thunderbird.
i asked him to try another user to see if the problem is then ok.

In regards to KMail - Akonadi is likely being started and it will be the Akonadi POP/IMAP agents triggering these windows.
You can fix this by opening KMail - and making sure all related accounts have been removed (except for Local Folders).
