Hi
I would like to start converting some of the old systray icons of applications like KRuler, KShutdown, Basket, etc. to their monochrome counterparts in order bring a more pleasant and tight visual integration with modern KDE SC.
But alas! since I'm not a designer -although I do very well with GIMP, Inkscape and such tools- and never have been involved in KDE SC art making thus I don't know where to look to start.
If there's any guidelines I should follow to make these icons I would like to check them before start workin.
Best,
Martin

I would recommend sending an email to kde-artists@kde.org regarding this, the people there should be able to help you with the needed information.

From what I understand, Inkscape is used to draw the icons which make up the Oxygen icon set.
