I've been working on a dark theme for my desktop. I have it close to how I want it, but there is one thing I can't seem to change. I can't seem to get the inactive text in menus to change color, and it blends in with the background, making it unreadable. The default color for "Inactive Text" is "Varies". I've tried changing it, but doesn't seem to make a difference. Currently running KDE 4.8.4.

I am guessing you have tried changing "Inactive text" as well as the Disabled colours preferences?

I've changed it from "Varies" to something that would really stand out (bright green) under all categories, still no change.

Edit: I did fix it under disabled text. I changed the contrast under Disabled text. I must have changed it for disabled buttons, didn't realize how it affected disabled text.

Thank you.
