Hello,

I am looking for a way to set the grid size (horizontal and/or vertical spacing between icons) in either folderview or desktop containment mode.

The hint to add to
[DesktopIcons]
DesktopGridSpacing=25,10
in .kde4/share/config/kdeglobals doesn't seem to work.

Is the spacing somehow "desktop theme" dependent?

From what I can tell, the spacing between items (files/folders) in a Folder View is hardcoded into the applet itself and cannot be changed by the theme or through a hidden preference.
