a) check that there's some styles/oxygen.so in any path as provided by
Code: Select all
kde4-config --path qtplugins

b) check whether its deps are resolved
Code: Select all
ldd /usr/lib/kde4/plugins/styles/oxygen.so

c) compare timestamps of oxygen.so and its linked liboxygenstyle.so.4
Code: Select all
stat /usr/lib/kde4/plugins/styles/oxygen.so
stat /usr/lib/liboxygenstyle.so.4

Of course use the actual paths on your system instead of /usr/lib/kde4/plugins/styles/oxygen.so and /usr/lib/liboxygenstyle.so.4 in any occasion.

If either of this fails (ie. for (c) if there's a huge difference in the modification time) please contact your distro or the PPA - it's their task to shuffle proper binaries onto your disk and "send you a file" usually won't work in this case.
