Customizing Plasma in Arch Linux

Thu May 23, 2013 9:06 pm
Sorry for the noobish question, but I just downloaded KDE from the Arch Linux repositories, and it works fine, although it's windows are gray, blocky, and remind me of those from Windows 95. For example, and I know that Nautilus is not designed for KDE, but it shows what the windows looks like, here's a screenshot of the Gnome file explorer on KDE: http://imgur.com/dPqsQ85

And here's a screenshot of the toolbar on Firefox, also showing off the old-fashioned windows: http://imgur.com/gqQvQML

I've tried different themes, but that hasn't changed the window design.

I feel like this problem only applies to Arch, mainly because it isn't a pre-customized distro-based version of KDE. Any help would be apprecitated.

Ensure you have both oxygen-gtk2 and oxygen-gtk3 installed.
