For the past 3 days when I start up my computer all my fonts have been changed from deja vu sans to ubuntu.
When I go to system settings it shows all fonts set to ubuntu. Some of them are not the same size as I originally had either. I go set them all back. Everythings fine. Next time I boot up, they're all back to ubuntu. Also the setting "text besides icons" gets set when I had previously set it to "no text". Any ideas how to stop my settings from getting changed? |

Is the file ~/.fonts.conf writable by your user?
Also, in case the font configuration cache has become corrupt, try removing ~/.fontconfig/

Thanks. I was thinking it was a settings not being saved problem. It makes me nervous when things like this happen but after three days in a row of resetting my system fonts, they are now staying the same. Oh well... |
