Swing Dash Behaviour

Tue Jul 16, 2013 2:29 pm
Hi all.

on a german keyboard to produce a swing dash (~) I have to press ALT-GR and twice the plus-sign.
Is it possible to change it to ALT-GR and a single plus-sign? That's like Windows behaves (at least with german layout).

I found the keyboard settings with a load of possible changes, but couldn't find the right button for my problem. Mister Google was also no help.
Any ideas?

TIA

chose a proper deadkeys variant? eg. deadgraveacute (good to type é and à, but has ^ and ~ directly)

Thanks, that solved my problem.
And after knowing what to google for, I found the proper place to change in keyboard settings, layouts, configure layouts, variant and I also found solution for virtual terminals too. :)
