i was wondering if it was possible to trigger panel auto-hide feature that reveals the panel via some thing other than a mouseover. i can see in other threads that it appears you can't change the timeout-delay for the feature, but, is there a way to set it so that it requires a hotkey combo, or, clicking on that "Desktop" button at the top right of the screen?

thanks!

Unfortunately it is not possible to my knowledge, although you could use the xte (X Automation Tool) to emulate a mouse hover.
