[SOLVED] Mounted Volume on Desktop

Hi,

How can set KDE Plasma 4.10 so that when I mount an external volume a desktop icon appears?

While there is no specific feature supporting this, you could add the device notifier applet to the desktop, which would allow you to launch applications and eject volumes which have been connected to the computer. This would only display removable media however.
