I've created a little service menu item.

Code: Select all
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Service
ServiceTypes=KonqPopupMenu/Plugin,image/x-pentax-pef
Mimetype=image/x-pentax-pef;
Actions=pef2jpegStandard

[Desktop Action pef2jpegStandard]
Name=PEF to JPEG - 1/2 size
Icon=kfm
Exec=ufraw-batch --overwrite --shrink=2 --out-type=jpeg "%U"

I love it but it doesn't work if I highlight more than one file.

How can I create a service that will allow me to select a group of files and perform a custom action on them?

Does the command ufraw-batch accept multiple files as input? If so, then simply removing the quotes around %U should be sufficient. If I recall correctly, KDE should take the care necessary to ensure that each file is passed in as a single argument (ie. spaces in file or folder names will not split it into two arguments).
