I am launching Wirehsark using `kdesudo wireshark` (from konsole) and get this:

But when I use `sudo wireshark` a nice theme is used:

Why kdesudo doesn't give the same result as sudo?

Because sudo is the incorrect approach - it doesn't clear the environment fully, so you will end up with a root application accessing the preferences of your local account. This can have quite negative impacts upon your normal user applications as caches and configuration files may become read-only or potentially unreadable to them.

To get a proper appearance under "kdesudo" run "kcmshell4 style" using "kdesudo" and set an appropriate theme such as Oxygen (assuming Wireshark is Qt based).
