I have this weird problem in KDE. I haven't quite figured out how to reproduce it consistently, but often the problem comes after doing the following:
- Startup laptop (Asus G55VW) - login KDE - Unplug AC adapter - Close the lid - Laptop automatically suspends - Open lid - Laptop resumes correctly - Sometimes bottom panel battery indicator pops out and stays open on desktop (see link for screenshot) SCREENSHOT: http://imgur.com/NxFda7c Does anyone know how to get rid of this problem? it's a cosmetic issue, but still annoying. If I could at least know how to pop it back in that would be great progress. Thanks! |

It appears the battery applet is hidden. Can you try forcing it to always be shown?

Ok. I forced it to be always visible. I will keep testing and report back Andres |

So after testing for a significant amount of time the issue is gone ONLY when I force the applet to be shown. As soon as I switch to auto mode, I observe the reported behavior. |
