I have used kde for RHEL 6. where I created kde directory structure in /data and kept my all default kde settings in it. I then export KDEDIRS=/data/kde in /etc/profile. That thing worked for me in RHEL6. Now when I trying the same thing in RHEL7, I get only settings from kdeglobals file and it is not taking settings from remaining files e.g. Plasma-desktoprc. Kindly suggest some solution.
