Hello,
i've been using kalarm for many years. I've recently switched to Archlinux and I'm getting an issue with time format. The widget for editing time is using the "am/pm" system instead of the "24h" system. Time column is wrong: * time is displayed as "03:45 PM" instead of "15:45" * date is displayed using "month/day/year" instead of "day/month/year" I'm using kalarm 2.10.12-ak (with "KDE Development Platform 4.14.10") My locale: LANG=en_US.UTF8 LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF8 LC_NUMERIC=en_US.UTF8 LC_TIME=en_GB.utf8 LC_COLLATE=en_US.UTF8 LC_MONETARY=fr_FR.UTF8 LC_MESSAGES=en_US.UTF8 LC_PAPER="en_US.UTF8" LC_NAME="en_US.UTF8" LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF8" LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.UTF8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF8" LC_ALL= My kalarm is using "British English" as "application language" (or so it says in Help menu) An important note: I'm not using KDE. Just some KDE applications like kalarm So I suppose I will not be able to use kde config dialogs or the like Thank you. Regards, |

Check the regional settings in systemsettings.
On my upgrade to kubuntu 15.10 they were reset |

Hi lolilol, did you solved the issue? Because I have exactly the same problem. I love kalarm and I usually set the alarm time just entering 4 digits in 24hr format (e.g. 1635 for 4:35pm). But now it doesn't work anymore. It was after some upgrade but I don't know how to fix it. I have LC_TIME=en_GB.UTF-8. I loved when you could configure just the time format for kalarm, not to have to change the global settings. All other KDE applications report the time in 24hr format. Also `date'. In kalarm applications language I have "American English" but I don't know how to change it. TIA, Mario |
