How system looks is very important to me. I couldn't find perfect desktop theme so I just created my own by choosing certain elements of two preferred themes: diamond and maia, creating a new theme for manjaro which I called maia transparent.
The settings ware located in: settings->workspace appearance->desktop appearance (roughly translated from my language version) There I could choose a theme or open advanced tab where I could play with various elements of the theme. On the main tab there were also a plus button called "more options". After clicking it I was able to save that custom configuration to zip file. GREAT! Here are results: http://imgur.com/QNWmJaD http://imgur.com/iemr4Zh Now all that options since 5.6.1 update are GONE! There is no advanced tab, no "more options" button and thus no way to easy customize already existing themes by using kde gui. That was one of the most enjoyable parts of plasma 5 for me, because I could set the system look exactly the way I want. With new update it feels like huge step back ![]() What happened? Is it just some bug and those options exist for other but not me? Or is it just temporary removal because those options weren't exactly working like they should or maybe that's permanent decision to cripple kde 5? KDE is suppose to be customizable ![]() ![]() |
