Hullo,

Is it possible to completely remove shadow and windows borders in latest, 16.04 Kubuntu?
I have only found the way to change some shadow values in Windows Decoration - Look and Feel of Windows Titles. No option of totally removing the shadow.
As in the subject I would like to disable shadow presence everywhere.

Thank you in advance.

KDE's Holy (?) Trinity

Editing window decorations

There are several ways to create/edit the window decorations. The Breeze window decorations can be as C++ plugin, qml and a Aurorae (svg) theme:

1) You could download the Breeze window decoration source and edit the code.
2) You could make/edit Breeze qml window decoration.
3) You could draw/edit Breeze Aurorae theme.

The simplest case is to draw/edit plasma/Aurorae. Both the plasma themes and the Aurorae themes are svg images so you only need an image editor and lot of beer.

More than hugest thanks. Your explanation is beyond any experienced.
I have got a very solid indication for digging into those magic charms.

PS
Being afraid not to abuse your helpfulness and patience I would like to ask you about installing Windows Themes and icons in KDE Plasma (OpenSuse Leap 42.1)

I think I should open a separate topic.... hope you will find it :)
