hi

I have this strange behavior when using the mouse scroll wheel in many of the plasma windows (in this example settings of the system tray).
Upon opening it looks fine, but if I then use the scroll wheel to scroll a bit down the font gets messed up, if I continue a 2nd scroll with the mouse wheel it looks normal again.

Anybody any idea about the reason for this ?

Open the Compositor preferences on the system settings and see if changing something there helps you.

animation speed: from slowest to fastest - no change
Scaling method: tried all 3 - no change
Backend: tried all 3 (2x open GL, 1x Raster) - no change
vsync: tried all 5 - no change
miniature: tried all 3 - no change
export: on - no change
Experimental: on - no change

Try to find out if there's any update for your graphics card driver then. I don't know what's the recommended way to update it on openSUSE.

all up to date (nvidia blob latest version on tumbleweed).
its just plasma windows like in the screenshot, it does not happen in things like libreoffice of firefox etc. etc.

I'm sorry for not being able to provide better help. If you don't get any other replies here or on the openSUSE forums, try filing a bug report with your complete specs.
