KDE chose SDDM to be the successor of the KDM for KDE Plasma 5. More of the SDDM: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_De ... ay_Manager
The KDM 'enable boot options in the shutdown dialog' was/is using grub/lilo/etc option to reboot into a specified OS once. The plasma 5 shutdown dialog doesn't (by my knowledge) have this option. You could add an idea to the KDE Brainstorm ( viewforum.php?f=83 ) or file a bug (wish) report to the KDE bugzilla: https://bugs.kde.org Meanwhile you could use the Grub reboot without the KDE Gui: - Arch Linux: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GR ... and_tricks -> https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GR ... _only_once - Debian: https://wiki.debian.org/GrubReboot - your distribution wiki ? Tested, at here, with the Arch and it is working. |
