Greetings to everyone,
I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer for. Purely by accident, I found that I could locate an icon of the trash can in the systems tray. However, now I have two trash can icons. I would like to remove the one on the desktop propper, but can't figure out how. It's probably so simple I just can't see it, but I'd sure appreciate some assistance on removing it, please. Thank you! Frank

Simply use file manager (I use KDE Dolphin) to point to the "Home" folder
Locate the Desktop folder and click on it From the files listed delete (or move to wastebin) the file called "trash.desktop" As you dealete the file, the "wastebin" icon from the Desktop will disappear. Done! My KDE version is 5.9.4 |
