I like this theme but I want to modify it a little bit:
https://store.kde.org/p/998767/ 1. How can I make all panels like Top-panel with gradient and non-transparent (with desktop effects enabled)? 2. How can I have icons on panel, I mean icons of open applications not to have a round frame but a blue line above the icon (indicating that it is active) like in Breeze? |

Downloaded themes are installed to: ~/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/
Desktop Theme's are basically svgs you can edit in Inkscape. If you want to test your changes, switch to another desktop theme and back to "reload" the theme. 1. If you want to make all panels like the "north" panel, open the "widgets/panel-background.svgz". 2. If you want it like breeze, you could copy the /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/default/widgets/tasks.svgz from Breeze. |

Thank you for responding, but could you give more instruction details, please. I did something like this and saved https://i.imgur.com/m9e1ij6.png but when I switched theme to this modified I got transparent background https://imgur.com/a/GuU1HgY |

south-topleft south-top south-topright south-left south-center south-right south-bottomleft south-bottom south-bottomright etc... https://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tu ... emeDetails https://i.imgur.com/r1OjW29.png |

I did it but now effect
Here is the file with changed names. Can you have a look: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1hQS-r ... 5zZa7AUEzC I noticed that even when I copy to Excalibur widgets folder a ready file from other theme (that looks not transparent in original theme) it becomes transparent. Perhaps there are other setting that determine it? |

You need to remove the "-1-9-5" that's tacked onto the end of the element ids. You need to change the element ids from:
"center-center-1-9-0" => "center" "north-center-1-9-5" => "north-center" "west-center-1-9" => "west-center" "east-center-1-9-6-7" => "east-center" "south-center-1-9-0-0" => "south-center" "south-topleft-1-3-2-2" => "south-topleft" "south-topright-9-8-9-7" => "south-topright" etc. |

Ok. I did it but still with no effect. But then I figured out that there is in
/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/Excalibur/translucent/widgets/ another file panel-background.svgz and I replaced it with the one I changed. Perhaps this one was somehow responsible for transparency effect. And this way I succeeded. Thank you for your help. But I want to correct other elements: 1. As you can see on screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/sAWNxzI when I click on calendar there is a highlight. I want to get rid of it. Can you tell me please what element is responsible for this and what to do, so that when I click on calendar the view doesn't change? As in Breeze, when I click on calendar it doesn't become highlighted. 2. In menu there is a space between elements of the tree https://imgur.com/a/LzU2FL8 Can you tell me please how can I get rid of this space? I want it to look like this: https://imgur.com/a/REflySH |

widgets/tabbar.svg is what is the active button "highlight". Delete that svg and it won't show up.
dialogs/background.svg is what controls the menu outlines. https://i.imgur.com/uLNAT72.png |

Finally I have it as I wanted, which means a lot to me, because I used this theme for almost four years on Plasma 4.
When I have more time I will learn Inkscape, and play a little more with details. You were very patient and helpful. Thank you very much. |

I thought I will wait until I learn more Inkscape but before I learn from beginning I want to be able to change something else and I need a quick tip. Thank you in advance.
1. What element is responsible for this pop-up information when I hover mouse cursor over widget: https://imgur.com/4fAM0pO https://imgur.com/BrWMJMp 2. I want to edit the edge of a widget. How to change colour and make it more transparent? https://imgur.com/a/j7Kigx0 The problem is that when I click on option "uniform colour" it looks like the edge becomes broader (in grey colour) https://imgur.com/a/T0eJZhk besides the color can be easily changed but the grey outline of the edge stays grey. https://imgur.com/a/Gxwbdx1 |

Editing grouped objects is a little difficult. Use the "edit paths (F2)" tool to select the "Paths/Objects" easily so that you can change it's fill color.
