In Gnome and Cinnamon, I can set the default application for all (video / audio) file extensions, but in KDE I have to set the default application for every extension 1 by 1.

Could you consider adding more options for Default Application to be more easier to use?

I'd recommend reposting this over in the Brainstorm forum where you are likely to garner more feedback and discussion. There may be other file categories which may be worth adding or other ideas worth discussing.
