All,
A search of this site has revealed nothing, and Google hits on it once or twice, but I have found nothing. . . hopefully you will be able to help me out. I have a security concern about using KDE. When the screen saver pops up it locks the computer (as it is supposed to do). The issue that I have, however, is that the user's name is displayed on the unlock panel. I would like to disable this as I don't want any of my user's names to be displayed on the screen (we all work off of laptops and travel quite a bit). I have looked through everything I could find and cannot locate the "registry key" that would allow me to disable this information leak. Any help would be appreciated. Kennedy |

I do not know if this can be disabled, however every operating system I know of displays the username as part of the unlocking process ( Windows, Mac OS, etc )

Logoff instead of just locking the screen.
