When using one of the pre-installed dark themes, such as Breeze Dark, active buttons are white text on white background and unreadable. Is this a bug? How can I modify this? (I tried, but couldn't find the right color option.)

That should be from the Focus Decoration and Hover Decoration colors.

Doing some testing, looks like it doesn't update immediately when you change the color scheme and may require you to restart the apps.

Indeed! It is inconvenient that this covers both the border and surface, which get activated in all kinds of interconnected but different ways.

Yes, and this is what caused me to not find these two as the culprits. So many thanks for your help!
