Hello all
I've set a splash screen using the appropriate KDE's settings module when first configuring my environment. Now, whenever I make changes to that setting (and yes, I do remember to press the Apply button), the change is **utterly ignored by KDE**. If I log out/in or reboot, the splash screen is the same as **before** the change, even thou I reopen the *Splash Screen settings* and it shows the settings as I have **changed**. While investigating the issue, I was able to locate the config file where KDE stores the setting (`~/.config/ksplashrc`) and confirmed the changes made on the *Splash Screen* module are stored there whenever I Apply them. The file seems to be ignored by KDE anyway. Has anyone seen such behavior before? |
