I switched to Kubuntu from GNOME-based Ubuntu just a couple days ago. I have a question about system sound effects. Unlike GNOME Ubuntu, there's no sound that plays when I insert or remove an external device like a USB drive. I looked through the Notifications menu in the system settings app and I couldn't find any place to set a sound for USB device insertion/removal. I always prefer to have some audio feedback when I insert a storage device, so is there any way at all to set a sound for that, like in the terminal or something?
