Change the 30s logout timer

Tue Oct 15, 2019 6:15 pm
Hello everyone,
i've looked almost everywhere for a solution but all posts/discussions i found were about get completely rid of it... not what i want!
I'd really like to reduce it to about 8-10s that are more than enough for a not-braindamaged person to change his mind and click some other option...
Seems there is no option to change it (quite surprised about this) so i'm asking if what i want can be achieved manipulating some config file.
Another reason for my request is that i've wrists problems so every click on the mouse/keayboard button press i can avoid is pure bless.

Thanks to everyone and sorry for my bad english :)

I'm not sure if it is currently possible to change the default 30 seconds logout, you can de-select boxes in Settings > Startup & Shutdown > Desktop Session and leave the boxes blank but this will shut your PC down immediately and not offer you any chance to change your mind?:

https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/kde-work ... index.html

I hope it helps. ;D ;D ;D

Running Kubuntu on two computers (one dual boot and one as single OS), were it not for gaming; I would ditch Winblows completely!.
