I'm so used to using middle-click to paste, especially in the terminal, that it's really bothering me that doing so is moving through my terminal tabs. For sure my mouse has a wheel with side scroll. Is there any way to disable it or at least tell Konsole that I don't want to jump around my tabs when I'm just trying to paste? It's very hard to middle click without hitting this feature. I did search the forum -- how hasn't everybody been driven nuts by this?!

Many thanks in advance with fingers crossed.

Check the mouse settings in the System Settings -> Hardware -> Input Devices

FWIW: Please always state your exact Plasma version and distribution, it helps enormously with answering questions.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
