Logitech Y-SV39 keyboard  Topic is solved

Thu Jan 30, 2020 3:00 pm
All,

Image

I have a Logitech Y-SV39 keyboard. As you can tell by the worn off paint, it is my current favorite and almost broken in. Someone in Linux land has done a bit of work on the driver to support it. The unconventional buttons at the top almost work.

Volume up/down/mute work as expected.
Search pops up the KDE application search box.
Files and E-mail pop up nothing.

WWW with a house on it is just weird. If I have Firefox open it switches the current tab content to new empty tab content. If I have no browser open and no instance of Dolphin open, it pops up Dolphin with the contents of my home directory.

I ass-u-me there is a configuration file/app which can be tweaked to fix E-mail, Files, and WWW functionality. Would appreciate someone chiming in.
